REVIEW Travelogues are helpful in much perspective; they are source of information of history and culture. Travelogue shows, how a book can become a companion for you, by bridging a gap between a person’s inner self and a city’s soul. Very few travelogues have the capacity to bring the true essence of the historical places. The book “Buddhist Pilgrimage through the Eyes of Teenager” written by Sanhita Sonavane, does that quite successfully. I am fascinated by reading this book written by a sixteen year old girl.In this younger age she got inspire to write about the Buddhist tourist places where she travelled. Author was on Buddhist pilgrimage with her grandparents, where she visited Mughalsarai, Sarnath, Shravasti, Jetavana, Lumbini, Kushinara, Vaishali, Nalanda and Mahabhodhi Vihara.
